One connected loop, from lesson plan to student feedback.

Most AI tools stop at a draft. Skoolu follows the work through the term: the paper you set carries its marking scheme into checking, and approved marks go straight to students.

  1. 1

    Plan

Lesson and unit plans in a CBSE-style format (outcomes, prior knowledge, aids, competency checks) or as an IB inquiry, citing your syllabus codes.

  2. 2

    Set the paper

A paper with its marking scheme: CBSE Class X Science and Maths follow the board pattern and are checked against it; other classes and subjects get unit tests. Ready for A4.

  3. 3

    Check scripts

Photograph handwritten scripts. AI suggests marks point by point, quoting each answer.

  4. 4

    Report

Holistic Progress Cards for Classes 6–8 (PARAKH middle stage) and report-card remarks, drafted from your ratings and notes.

  5. 5

    Share results

Approved results reach students, with strengths and a next step.

What the scripts show shapes the next plan.

From your prompt to a working draft.

Ask for a lesson plan, a worksheet or a parent note. Review it, refine it in the same thread and save the version you will use.

  • Uses your class, board and syllabus as context
  • The chat and the document stay side by side while you refine
  • Print it, or download it as a Word file

93 tools for everything else in a teacher's week.

Every tool already knows your class, board, subject and syllabus, so you describe the lesson — not the context. Drafts can be in English or eight Indian languages.

93 tools, and you can build your own. Also text levelling, exit tickets, olympiad sets, remedial plans, IB report comments, class newsletters and art-integrated projects — or save your own instructions as a school tool.

Safe, secure AI for schools.

AI does the drafting. Teachers make the decisions, and every decision leaves a record your school can check.

Safety checklist

Built into every school account

  • Teachers stay in charge

Teachers approve papers, marks, reports and parent updates before sharing. In student rooms, teachers choose every tool and can read or pause any chat.

  • Names become codes

Names on your class list are replaced with S1-style codes in text prompts. Script photos go to the AI as images, so ask students to write roll numbers, not names.

  • Marks need evidence

Suggested answer-script marks cite quotes from the student's answer. A point without a quote is flagged.

  • Every mark change is audited

The record shows who approved each script, when, and which marks differ from the AI's suggestion.

  • Each school's data is separate

Row-level security in the database keeps every school's data isolated from every other school's.

  • Designed around India's DPDP Act

Your school is the data fiduciary and we act as its processor under a signed agreement. Until it is signed, Skoolu blocks adding students, answer-script uploads, writing feedback and student rooms unless your admin confirms test students only.

Student rooms have a safety response.

Teachers can read, comment on and pause every conversation. An urgent message is emailed at once to the class teacher and the school's safeguarding lead (one email per student and room every 30 minutes while an alert is open), and stays in Skoolu's alerts until reviewed. Students see Tele-MANAS (14416), Child Helpline (1098) and 112 when they need immediate help.

A pilot starts with test students.

In a pilot, student chats and answer-script photos are sent only to an AI model in Mumbai, and Skoolu's database is hosted in Singapore. Until your school signs the data processing agreement, Skoolu blocks adding students, answer-script uploads, writing feedback and student rooms, unless an admin confirms test students only.

Start with a pilot, not a leap.

Begin with a few teachers and test students, then widen use once your school has seen the results.

  2. Step 2

    Set up safely

Add classes and teachers. Use test students until your school signs the data processing agreement.

  3. Step 3

    Teachers get going

Staff courses and guided onboarding help teachers plan, set papers and check scripts in their first week.

  4. Step 4

How much teacher time could your school get back?

Move the sliders to your school's numbers. It is an estimate from your numbers and two assumptions you can change. A pilot measures it for real.

Counts answer-script checking only. Planning, papers, reports and parent updates save time too, but they are not included here.

How accurate is the answer checking?

The AI suggests marks and the teacher approves every one. Each suggestion quotes the student's answer, and diagrams or unclear answers are flagged for the teacher to judge. In a pilot we first measure how closely the suggestions agree with your own teachers' marking, before anyone relies on them.

What happens to student data?

Under India's DPDP Act your school is the data fiduciary and Skoolu acts as its processor under a signed agreement; until it is signed, Skoolu blocks adding students, answer-script uploads, writing feedback and student rooms unless your admin confirms test students only. Names on your class list are replaced with S1-style codes in text prompts, and each school's data is isolated in the database. In a pilot, student chats and answer-script photos are sent only to an AI model in Mumbai; Skoolu's database is hosted in Singapore.

Can students use it?

Yes, in student rooms. A teacher opens a room for a class, picks the AI study tools students may use and prints a QR sign-in card for each student — no student email or phone number needed. The helpers are set up to give hints first, the teacher can read every conversation, and a student who mentions self-harm or abuse sees helplines while the teacher gets an urgent alert.

Does Skoolu replace teachers?

No. It drafts; teachers decide. Every paper, mark, report and parent message is approved by a teacher before anyone else sees it, and in student rooms teachers choose the tools and read every conversation.

Which boards and languages does it support?

CBSE (with a built-in syllabus for Classes 6–10 Maths and Science), IB PYP, MYP and DP, or your school's own syllabus once it is imported. Board-pattern papers follow CBSE's Class X Science and Maths sample papers; other classes and subjects get unit and periodic tests. Drafts can be written in English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati or Malayalam; the app itself is in English.

Do teachers need a laptop?

No. Skoolu runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops. Answer checking is designed around a phone camera.

How is it priced?

Teacher Free is free. Teacher Pro is ₹299 per month or ₹2,499 per year. School is ₹300 per student per year, invoiced. Ask for a demo to plan your school pilot.
